About us
The Canberra Handball club was established in early 2007 and was subsequently admitted to the NSW Handball League.
In the first year of competition Canberra won the NSW League title, dropping only one game in the process. Following that, in November, Canberra won the bronze medal at the 2007 Oceania Champions League in Tahiti.
The club repeated its 2007 effort last year, winning the NSW League for the second time in 4 years.
This year the team is rebuilding after many of the senior players have moved on. Several junior players have been added to the squad for 2011.
The club has only one senior men’s team which is made up of experienced and young players.
We like always to hear from people who would like to be involved with the club. So if you are keen to get into handball, weather it's playing or officiating, we'd love to hear from you.
Our website will be regularly updated so please bookmark it and help support us and handball in Australia.
We wish all the teams and officials best of luck in the new season.
