Another two wins for the Canberra Club

Canberra Handball Club continued their winning form with a convincing 34:18 (19:6 at the break) win over Harbourside today in Sydney. The club backed-up the win with a record 50:18 win over second division team, Hills Flare, to take maximum points from today’s double-header.

Canberra is now second on the league ladder with 20 points and with 5 games left in the main round, they have a good chance of qualifying directly into the semi-final.

17 year old back, Luke Behrendorff made another appearance in the senior team, scoring 8 goals during Canberra’s win over Hills Flare.

Canberra’s next game will be away to Hills Heat in two weeks.
