Canberra edges out Hills, Solberg debuts

The Canberra club defeated Hills 25:17 (15:8 at the break) in a hard fought match at the Woden centre today. 

Canberra maintains the lead on the league ladder but Sydney Uni Gold, with one game in hand, will most likely go to the front of the table leading into the last round of competition, where Sydney Uni and Canberra will clash for the last time before the finals. The match will determine the 2008 minor-premiers.

Exciting news for the Canberra club today, with the signing of a recently arrived Norwegian national.  Goalkeeper Jonas Solberg, who hails from Oslo's Oppsal IF, made his first appearance for Canberra.
