CSU stun Rooks

CSU have put in their best performance yet to upset current competition leaders Rooks with a four-goal win today at Woden (28:24).

This was Rooks' first loss of the season but they were missing two key players, including keeper Niran James. CSU is experiencing a change in fortune recently, now on their second consecutive win, after starting the season with four straight losses.

In the other game of the round, Braddon and Thunder played out a 17 all draw to share the points. Braddon fought back a two-goal deficit in the dying moments of the game to level the scores.

Rooks leads the competition with 10 points, followed by last year's champions Thunder with 7, then Braddon 5, CSU 4 and Hammers on 2 points.
