ACT girls off to a winnning start

ACT girls defeated Queensland 14:12 in the opening match of the u16 National Championships, in Coffs Harbour this morning. ACT took a strong lead early on, through creative use of pivot Holly Tupper. A succession of missed penalty then put Queensland in the game at 10 all. As both teams struggled to take control, Alexandra Hollard stepped up to score two vital goals for ACT, securing the win for her team.
