ACT u18s go down to NSW

ACT on the attack against NSW A u18

ACT's under 18 team couldn't repeat their winning start in the second round of the u18s National Championships, against NSW's A team, going down 25:10 (8: 5 at the break).

ACT had a strong start to the game keeping up with NSW for the entire first half, but collapsed in the second half allowing NSW to pile on the goals with ease.

Jure Biuk stood out for ACT, with five goals but was overshadowed by NSW centre-back James Ridley, who scored 12 for his team.

ACT will now need to defeat NSW B, to stay in the running for a spot in the final.
