NSW too strong for ACT's u21

Robet Ridley of NSW on the attack against ACT u21 team

ACT’s under 21 boys went down 35:21 to NSW this morning in their opening game of the Junior National Championships, at Sydney Olympic Park.

ACT was first on the scoreboard but a seven goal spree by the more experienced NSW put the game beyond ACT’s reach.

ACT keeper Curtis Eitzen did  his best to repel the blues attack, in the first half, stopping a number of open shots but ACT failed to capitalise on that in attack.

For ACT, Nejc Kodric and Callum Mouncey top scored with 7 and 5 goals respectively and Harbourside’s Lucas Frey top scored in the match for NSW with 8.

ACT comes up against Queensland, in their second game, later today.
