ACT u21 wins over Queensland

Nejc Kodric breaks through the QLD defence

ACT u-21 team outscored Queensland, 16:7 in the second half of their round 2 encounter, to secure an important win today.  The scores were locked at 10:10 at the break, then ACT brought Curtis Eitzen in goal. ACT’s experienced keeper closed the goal for a period of 15 minutes, with a strong performance, helping his team to a 7-goal  spree that put the teams apart.

Nejc Kodric did his part in attack, scoring twelve goals for ACT.

The teams will meet again tomorrow, for the return match, for a spot on Monday’s final.
