NSW boys win the Championship title
NSW boys defeated ACT 30:12, to win their third consecutive u16 National Championships in Canberra today.
ACT was first to score but NSW raced-off to 7-1 lead in the next ten minutes, putting the game beyond ACT's reach, before the half-time buzzer.
Lachlan Skulander was in good shooting form again, scoring ten to take his tally to 28 in just three games.
The NSW defence learned their lesson from their first game against ACT, stopping ACT’s left-back Matt Cechet from getting in good scoring positions. Matt, who scored 12 goals in ACT’s first game against NSW, was held to only 5 this time. Matt finished the competition as top scorer with 34 goals in 4 games.
